Projects:
Crystal
Lake, Enfield, NH
This is a family camp
that needed a landscape facelift. Overgrown shrubs were not the
only issue, drainage in the backyard was rotting the sill, and some
major regrading needed to occur. As part of design development,
a drainage detail was prepared in conjunction with terracing to
reclaim a messy slope, into a useable back yard for the grandchildren.
A portion was seeded as wildflower meadow to minimize the retiree’s
maintenance and blend the forested edge. A patio area links the
front and backyard and looks onto Crystal Lake. This is a gathering
space for family members during summer months.
